Torn ankle Muscle ligament healed!

I heard a 'snap' around my ankle area when I was bathing Johanan last Sunday.

Little attention was paid to my ankle for the day as I sat in with Johanan at Rock KidZ but I do noticed that walking gets painful as we make our way to Rock KidZ.

Walking gets slower as my ankle gets more painful at night during dinner time. I limped instead of walk.

I limped to office on Monday as I was hoping that my company's cheque for next Tuesday's movie night will be ready and can arrange for our dispatch to collect the tickets n combo sets.

I didn't realize how awkward I limped until people started asking me what happened and decided to visit the company doctor.

What used to be a 5 minutes brisk walk ended up in 10 minutes walk as I limped slowly and even an elderly auntie (walked faster than me) and ask me what happened and one kind passersby even offered me a handyplast as she thought my shoes were causing the pain

Doctor examined my ankle , asked a few questions she concluded it is torn muscle ligament and was given 2 days mc to rest at home.

When my boss saw me on Wednesday, I was still limping badly and she advised me not to go KL.. I told her want to go as I have been waiting for this trip.

I went back to my desk and continued tearing over 1000 pieces of tickets and 1000 pieces of combo vouchers,praying in tongue.

A couple of hours later ,the lord prompted me to note my walking pattern and I realized that I wasn't limping anymore !

Anointing oil at work again!

Johanan woke up at 10am and just fell asleep 5 mins ago

Just before he slept he was grouchy .. Kept pointing to the cupboard where we placed the anointing oil..

He nodded when I asked him whether he wanted me to apply anointing oil on him

So I applied and proclaimed that the discomfort in his eye will be gone in Jesus name

But that's not enough for him.. He wanted another prayer.. So I prayed for him

And he asked for another one by pulling my hand towards the anointing oil and put his hand on his head


So I sang song with him... Circling my hand on his head as I go along

"Jesus you are my righteousness, Jesus u r my holiness... I have no fear cos u r here with me"

Within minutes he fell asleep

Anointing oil

Praise Jesus!!

Johanan went to sleep at about 10.15 am and I was thinking to myself that I can sleep well..

But he woke up about 1 hour later.. Wailing... Struggling ... Clinging on to my neck tightly as I was carrying him...

All the tricks that used to distract him no longer works as his eyes were closed and big tear drops were coming out ...

Actually it was the second night that he had nightmares like this. I thought last night's nightmare was an after effect of falling down from the bed. After the fall, he was crying.. N shivers abit...his crying turned to sobbing when I asked him if he wants me to apply anointing oil on him... Which he responded with a nod

As I applied anointing oil on him, even his sobbing stopped... Praise Jesus!!

And when he had a nightmare just now, his wailing (can sense that it was a fearful wailing) stopped immediately as I applied anointing oil on his forehead and he just slept in my arms

As anointing oil was applied on him, I declared " no fear prevails cos Jesus is with you, johanan'

There was an instant silence after i said this. and now johanan is snoring in his sleep haha!!!

A lazy afternoon

I am enjoying this moment, a me time...

Son and hubby are asleep...

The boy have been sticking to me like a leech the entire day since he woke up at 9am

So here I am, blogging with my newly bought blog app... Hehe

Motherhood journey is a different experience everyday.. Johanan suddenly enjoys "baby back" with him on my back... Walking around the house...

And wants to be rocked to sleep... A habit which I do not want to pick up as I know that how you put babies to bed when they were new born will be how they want to be put to bed when they grow up

So I have been practicing ' let him drink till he is full and fall asleep' method.


But this practice have been laid aside for the past few days as I am forced to adopt " rock him to sleep' approach.

Carrying a more than 12 kg toddler and rocking him when I myself is tired is very exhausting. Thank God he fell asleep within 5 mins of rocking.

We did piano and drawing this morning. Managed to get his short attention to practice right hand middle c (4 counts) twice.





And was trying to get him to fill up the shapes I drew for him but he ended up filling up the page instead....
